Kiersten M. Talbert

Kiersten M. Talbert was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Her early education began with the West Oak Lane Christian Academy; Pre K through 5th grade, followed by Leeds Middle school. It was at this time she was accepted into a gifted program, where she graduated with her High School Diploma from William Penn High School.


In August of 2003, she was accepted and attended the Mount Ida College, New England Institute of Death Education, where she received her Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Home Management. She completed her mandatory year apprenticeship at an esteemed Funeral Home located in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. She completed her State Licensure requirements to become a Licensed Funeral Director.


Kiersten is also an Autopsy Technician where she is responsible for autopsying remains at a local hospital right outside of the Philadelphia city limits.

After much prayer and fasting, Kiersten opened the Kiersten M. Talbert Funeral Chapel Inc. in July of 2023. A dream fulfilled. Kiersten is a member and Deaconess of the Zion of Ambler Baptist Church located in Ambler, PA, where Rev. Dr. Ernest Flores is the pastor. Kiersten is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention, Women’s Ministry. She is a member of Deborah Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star, PHA Queen Alpha #93.


Her hobbies are horseback riding, going to the rifle range, and attending to her 160-pound Cane Corso, Mr. Gotti Gambino.


Those who know Kiersten will find her inviting and humble. She is also known for her visual funeral flare, her love of Rhinestones, horses, floral arrangements, and for thinking outside of the box.
