In Loving Memory of Nurriddin Zahir Abdel-Baaith
Jeffrey Sinclair Miller a.k.a Nurriddin Zahir Abdel-Baaith, a veteran, parent, and quietly steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew him passed away on December 17, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Born on June 19, 1953, Nurriddin lived a life shaped by resilience, duty, and a deep sense of responsibility to family and country. As a veteran of the United States Air Force, he answered a call larger than self, serving with honor and quiet resolve.

Those closest to Nurriddin knew him to be unique,  and singular-character, in his approach to life, he enjoyed his solitude as much as he enjoyed the mysteries of life itself. Life was not measured in grand gestures, but in perseverance, introspection, and care shown in ways that often went unspoken.

Nurriddin is survived by his siblings, Michelle Miller, Michael Miller, and Allyson Miller; his children, Davinah Crawford, Sakinah Matos, Sahar Taylor, Fateen Abdel-Baaith, Ibrahim Abdel-Baaith, and Miriam El-Baaith; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grand children, and loved ones, each of whom carries forward memories shaped by shared moments and lessons learned.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place,  and the family honors Nurriddin's life  with gratitude for the years shared and respect for the path he walked.

Those who wish to remember Nurriddin are can do so in their own way—through reflection, kindness, or a quiet moment of remembrance, or you can choose to come break bread with us! Share stories, memories, and moments - through both tears and laughter - as we celebrate a life that touched so many hearts. This time together will be one of reflection, connection, and love!
